Tea was made in teapots for years - then, everyone knew how to do it!.
You boil some water in a kettle!.
Then put either a couple of tea-bags in the teapot and warm the teapot (usually with a splash of hot water from the kettle- but any safe will do)!.
Pour in the boiled water - and wait for the tea to `mash`!.
And that`s it!
Years ago, `loose` tea was used of course - most teapots have holes at the bottom of the spout to catch most of the tea-leaves!. But use a tea-strainer anyway, otherwise you`ll have tea leaves floating about in your tea if you made it with loose tea-leaves!.
Put a `tea-cosy` over the teapot, to keep the tea warm!.
