Ceramic, porcelain, glass, cast iron!.!.!.which is the best!? I was told cast iron was the best for holding heat and expanding flavors!. Is this true!? I am a healthy eater and drinker not really looking to become die hard tea enthusiast or spend a lot of money; just looking for another way to live healthy and understand which teas are beneficial to the body!. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!. Thank you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi! I work in a Teavana and have people come in ALLLL the time that get a bit overwhelmed with all of the options!. To answer your question about tea pots!.!.!.cast irons ARE the best and the best one to get if you are really serious about drinking tea, for a number of reasons!. They do keep the tea hot the longest, and honestly the taste of tea made in a cast iron is the best in comparison to anything else!. Over time it also forms a mineral layer inside which adds to your health benefits!. also good!.!.!. is that they will last you a long time compared to other options!.

Since you don't want to spend a lot of money, you could always try teapots Teavana has called Beehouse teapots!. They make about 3 cups, and include the tea infuser!. also nice is that some are microwaveable and dishwasher safe!. Last I would suggest the tea infuser that drops right in your cup, or the Perfect Teamakers!. They are easy to use, very convenient, and the least expensive!. It's really up to you though as far as what is best for your lifestyle!

As far as tea is concerned!.!.!.White tea is THE healthiest tea you can drink!. Contains the most antioxidants out of all teas!. They are all very light in flavor as well!. Green tea is next in line as far as health benefits are concerned!. Then you have your oolong teas, which are good for digestion and metabolism!. Black tea, which is good for lowing blood pressure and cholesterol, and just good for the heart in general!. Herbal and Rooibos teas have a lot of vitamins and minerals, and are caffeine free!. Again, it depends on what health benefits you are looking for, and your taste preference!.

Hope this helps! I know it's a lot of information to take in when you are just getting into tea, but it's really not too bad once you get the hang of everything, I promise! Take the time to talk to someone in Teavana!. Don't feel like you are taking up their time!. They will spend as much time as needed to help you find what's best for you! Trust me, we do it all the time! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The tea pot probably doesn't make that much of a difference, but green tea is one of the healthiest teas, so if you're looking for healthy tea that's probably a good bet!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are multitudes of teas on the market, many ways to produce your drink and options of how to prepare the base media(m) of water!. I do believe in using Quality Teas, due to recent experience of trying to save money by purchasing in larger quantities!. This was not a great way of learning but it has taught me to find something I like and then stick with it!.
I feel that loose tea may be a fresher way to go and if I could grow anything I would probably try to go that route!.
Not having the greatest knowledge on which (today) is the metal or container of choice, I look to how I prepare my tea!.

(I throw a bag in a cup of distilled water and microwave it)!.

This is probably not the greatest, and I have even used an electric teapot to make a larger amount (it always seems to go murky/cloudy on me)!. This could then be reheated either on the stove or in the micro!.

Since I don't drink the tea fast enough I opt for smaller amt of great tasting tea!. (I like chamomile, due to stomach issues and the soothing that I get from this)!.!.!.!.!.!.Which brings up another suggestion of: time of drinking and also mood you're in will determine which tea you will want to drink!. You could go a local store and buy some of the better wrapped bags on the shelf to try, then buy fresh and you will already know which flavors you want!.

also getting a gallon jug and sun brewing always is a good way of getting a great tea, naturally --- without boiling any water!

In the meantime buy or plant some type of a mint and put in your window sill and get pleasure from watching Gods handiwork and then reap the benefits of your own hands!.

Very curious as to why you have choosen to become a daily tea drinker instead of the healthier juices, opps: unless you were just drinking store brands (full of SUGAR) and not juicing your own!. This is what I am trying to do is to juice my own for the healthier drinks!.

Best to your body and you! my way
