Is there such a thing as too much tea?!


Question: Is there such a thing as too much tea!?
Okay, this past month or so, I've taken quite a liking to oolong and green tea, and I was wondering if there was such a thing as too much tea!. I only drink three or four cups a day, and the green tea is decaffeinated (celestial seasonings with mint)!.

I feel so much happier and better since I've started drinking tea as opposed to coffee and water!. And its a definite improvement from drinking 5 cups of pop that I did a few years ago!. (Now I only have like one a month, and I can barely stomach that) So!.!.!.back to my original question!.!.!.is there such a thing as too much tea!? If so, what is a good stopping point!? Yes there is too much tea but only from the caffeine!. Oolong has about 40mg and green tea has about 30mg!. Decaf has about 10% or less!. The maximum safe level of caffeine intake we should have in a day is 300mg!. So the amount of tea you are drinking and with some of it being decaf you are completely fine!. You have nothing to worry about!. You can have a few more if you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

3 or 4 cups of tea isn't that bad!. I sometimes drink 9-10 servings of tea throughout the day!. I think you'd be drinking too much if it started affecting your work, school, job, etc!. or if you were drinking 20-50 cups a day!. I think you're fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Even though you have changed to a healthier drink, it will still dehydrate you because of the sweeteners and small doses of caffeine added to it!. (Even in teas marked as decaffeinated) Especially found inside the pre-made flavored teas!. The best way to make it healthier is to try to drink pure tea not the premixed stuff, it is hard to find in most grocery stores, you can find it most of the time in specialty asian stores!.That is where I mostly shop!. I have been drinking pure green tea (as well as all the other types of teas out there), water, and pedialite my entire adult life!. I have never had a weight or hydration problem because I always keep my main drink water!. I don't like pop either because it tastes too acidic to me!.

Still nothing replaces water!. You need to drink at least 2-3 liters of water per day!. I have included a few web sites that may be helpful to you!.
