What the hell is the point of this??!?!

Question: What the hell is the point of this!?!?!!?
what is the point of diet soda!? I know people say it tastes good but i mean health wise!? Isn't it suppose to be worse than regular soda!? i saw a woman order a bunch of junk food once: Hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, etc!. And at the end she says: "I'll have diet, im watching my weight" WHAT!?!?! i wanted to bust out laughing!. How is that suppose to help you!? I have met a lot of people who say stuff like that, does it really help you!? or not!? Your thoughts!?

You are absolutely right!. Diet sodas are bad for someone!. People who are actively watching their sugars use diet sodas to compensate for that cola craving some of us get!.
That is the only benefit to diet sodas I can tell!. Soda without sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It helps you in the weight department (compared to normal soda, not other drinks) if you exercise along with it!. You don't get all the bad sugary fat!. However it is more unhealthy for your body!. The substitutes for sugar that they use in it to make it taste good (even though I think it is discusting) are VERY unhealthy for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Health wise- I live in Northwest IN- the air is horrible- everything we eat- in a couple years will end up being bad for us- I enjoy a nice cold Diet Dr!. Pepper with my dinner- if that is gonna kill me- and not the crazy people around me, the bad air, or any other problem we have - then so be it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I used to think the same!. Now I'm diabetic, and very happy there is sugar free soda available!. Even tho' it is probably not good for you!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

diet soda is good for you every once in a while, but drinking too much is bad for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
