not really!.!.!.considering the fact that it costs the same as the other coffee shops for my drink (a medium regular latte)
I personally find this "starbucks is expensive" thing to be bogus!. I've been to many stores (peets' coffee, several different local shops, seattle's best) and found that the prices for everything are the same or a few cents less for all drinks and sizes!. These people who say starbucks are expensive arent comparing prices with different places for the same thing!. They are probably just going off on something that they heard!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. I had this loaded gift card though when I was in college and the Starbucks in my area had a great atmosphere!. It had couches, games, books, nooks and a balcony kind of hidden from the city life!. The employees seemed happy and pleasant and I know the chain tries to make itself more socially and environmentally friendly!. That being said, I use a french press now and grind my own!. It's delicious and we try to get brands that are socially and environmentally friendly!. There's also tons of recipes for coffee drinks out there if we miss that!.

All of these coffee places are too expensive, but people keep going back to drink overpriced coffee!.

Starbuck's has good qualities but they are expensive and it's ok 'cause they are a good employer and you would also want them to pay fair prices to coffee farmers!.
