Would you drink Raw Milk straight from the Cow?!

Question: Would you drink Raw Milk straight from the Cow!?
I am doing research for my family, determining if we should go back to the basics with our Milk supply!.

In the raw milk circles, they call pasteurized milk 'Dead Milk!.'

I am on the fence post with thisWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, but I am aware of the risks!. I also know how the milk I drink was handled because I work on the farm!. I would definitely check out the farmers quality reports (if none or if they are reluctant to let you see, then don't buy from them)!.
There are many benefits to consuming raw milk!. Just be aware!. You better do some research on the risks (e!.coli, salmonella, link between Johne's and Chrone's disease) and how to read milk quality reports (bacteria counts, somatic cell counts)!.
That's if you are purchasing directly from the farm!. If you're buying it in the store, then you're a little safer as they have more eyes watching them!. There are still risks, just not as likely!.

P!.S!. Raw milk actually lasts longer than pasturized!. Raw milk has natural enzymes that slow bacterial growth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would ONLY if I had a clean, reliable source and consumed it all within the same day!. (limit microbial growth)!.

The problem that happens is when you start to keep it longer than a day, as various lactobacillus grow in numbers and so do other potentinally harmful pathogens!.

I could go onto a very long description of everything harmful in milk, and minor differences between pasturized milk nutrient content and raw, but I won't!.

Basically if you want raw milk, get it daily, if you want milk that lasts a week, use pasturized!. (also!.!.!. DO NOT DRINK RAW MILK OR CONSUME PRODUCTS WITH RAW MILK IF PREGNANT!. Can result in spontanious abortion)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. I grew up on a farm and drank it for 20 years!. It never made me sick!. My grandparents drank it for 73 years and they were never became sick from drink it!. Cow and goat milk has been used thousands of years to make cheese and butter!. To my knowledge no one ever died from drinking it!. Even the FDA and CDC have debates about it!.

I like the taste which is sweeter and creamier!. I would love a tall glass now if I could only get it somewhere!.
