Can you drink tap water?!
I live in New Zealand and my sister told me that we are one of only three countries in the world that can drink tap water! Is this true!? If you answer, can you say which country you're from and yes/no!. ThankiesWww@FoodAQ@Com

I live in France (and have lived in Canada and England) and tap water in most developed countries is absolutely fine to drink!.!.!.Europe, Japan North America, Down Under
I have visited loads of countries (like Morrocco) where westerners arent used to the tapwater which has less filtering but the locals drink it & are fine !
BTW in some Canadian and US cities there are bottled waters sold that are in fact tap water from the city reserves!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i live in MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (in the northern/midwestern part of the US), and yes, we can drink the water - although i've heard rumors about it having too much iron and other things that obviously aren't great for you!. i know in suburbs and rural areas of my state (as is the same, i'm sure, for many other places as well), the water is undrinkable, not because of contamination - but just because it's what i call "well water", which is literally disgusting!. so whenever i wind up in those areas i tend to buy bottled water by the caseload!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can drink tap water plenty of places!. Just certain areas are affected differently!. I live in the U!.S!. and when I lived in California, the water there wasn't so bad!. But then I moved to an area in Texas!. The water we have here has a lot of fluoride in it, which, over time, can turn your teeth brown!. Therefore, I don't drink it!. That, and I much prefer the taste of bottled water!.

The US you can!. However I am from the north east, and if I go down to florida and some places in north carolina the water tastes different and does not agree with my stomach!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
