I've started drinking tea....is it okay for me to use so much honey?!

Question: I've started drinking tea!.!.!.!.is it okay for me to use so much honey!?
I've been reading about all the benefits of tea, so I bought some and I've been using honey to sweeten it!. Is it okay to drink so much honey!? I've been drinking 2-3 cups of tea a day, and I plan on lessening the amount of honey I use gradually!. I feel bad that I have to have the tea so "sweet", but until I develop a taste for it, is this okay!?

Is it bad like refined sugar!? Will is make me gain weight!? Do I need to brush my teeth afterward!?

Thanks in advanceWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
While honey is just another type of sugar, it has added health benefits over sugar!. It is an anti-infective and can be used to treat sore throats and help with skin infections!. Doctors recommend it as a natural antibiotic for the body!.

It can cause cavities, if you do not brush your teeth and if you have enough of it, it can cause weight gain!.

If you want to try a natural substance that has no calories and does not cause cavities or weight gain, try Stevia!. It is a plant that many health food stores sell in pill, liquid or powder form!. It will make your tea very sweet!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

There no chemical difference between honey and refined sugar, they're both just sugars!. And there's nothing unhealthy about sugar unless you have a weight problem and are trying to cut calories!. Especially if you brush your teeth after eating sugar to prevent it from contributing to tooth decay!. Sugar (and honey) is a much maligned substance, but in fact it's just an empty calorie!. It has no other detrimental effects if kept from sitting on your teeth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

honey is fine if it says PURE honey!.!.No added sugars !.!.We drink the green tea with it!.!.it doesn't take as much honey to make it sweet as some of the darker teas!.the pure honey is a bit more expensive but it taste so much better!.We have never brushed our teeth afterwords and no weight gain!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
