If a water cooler has hot water it will always be indicated by red!. The other one can be cool or just room temperature but the color actually varies by maker!. I have seen blue, white, and black myself!. I can't say as I have seen a green one before!. But I would love it cause green is my favorite color!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
