Why isn't there a third cola company - i.e other than Coke and Pepsi?!
After Coke and Pepsi - we have not seen a third popular cola company!? Why NOT!.

I actually preferred Virgin Soda (tried to gain foothold in the US around 2005)!. At the time I said I preferred the taste, but I just liked shouting "I must ravish the virgins!" They should have used me for marketing =)
That, and cola tastes around the same, and costs the same, so people have brand loyalties!. If a cola costs the same, they go for the brand!. If it's inexpensive, they see it as inferior!. It's like when coca cola tried to change the formula!. The blind taste test said people perferred the new one, but people hate change, and stuck with what they like!. And they buy the same things for their kids, so it's a repeating cycle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the reason why there isnt another company is because of popularity and money no one wants to take the chance to go up against 2 big time companies!. its like you going up against some one with 100 times more money than you and and play heads or tails with the bigger pocket covering you every time you wont win and even if you have the chance to win they will just throw money in you face in a large lump sum, guaranteed money most if not all will take it and sell the company and if you dont then both of the companies will work together to shut you down so they dont see more competion!. and the some of the main owners of coke own pepsi they control the market Www@FoodAQ@Com
There is one in south america but i cant remember the name there was a article on bbc radio about how coca cola was giving them grief!.

There are lots - those two just do better/sell more!. RC, C&C, Jones, Hansons, !.!.!.there are lots of third place colas!. But the two dominant ones are the ones people have liked best!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
