Question: If I use cream of coconut from a metal can will it effect the kefir!?

if I take the cream of coconut out the the metal can and put the kefir in it will it die!. thanks!. And can I make kefir with almond milk!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

metal won't affect the kefir (the metal used in modern cans is non reactive)
