Why is it that when i drink my home tap water i get sick?!
I usually buy the big blue gallons of water, but when the good water was finished, i had no choice to drink the tap water!.!. it has an awful taste very gross, I drank half way and I gagged and always gag from drinking it,No one in my family drinks it!.when i cook something with it like tea, my tea is so foggy and dark! i drank my tap water once and got a high fever and got dehydrated but i drank it enough to not be dehydrated,then i get like a bad after taste and i just can't cope with it!. why does this happen!? i moved a lot in my life, drank tap water too, but this one was just so badddddd!.!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

There may be something wrong with your pipes!. I suggest contacting the city!. If you have a glass of water, is it clear!?

Is this well water or city water or what!? That would be important in answering this type of question!. If it is city water than best to call the city water department and let them know what is going on!. if it is a well than have the water checked!. Some well water is not suitable for drinking!. You may also need a filter to take some of the stuff out of the water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Wow you need to have the water people come out and check your water!. Something probably leaked into the water pipes and/or you need a water filter!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
It might be contaminated town water!. That or your pipes could be badly rusted from damp weather, which can cause bad illness!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Possibly your house has sulfer water, your not supposed to drink it or cook with it or anything!. I would think you'd know this though, most of the time your whole house will smell like sulfer!.
I hate tap water as well I dont even really like it from the fridge unless its super cold!.!.!.!. Im a bottle fan!. Yeah its not tasty so Id understand if you gagged!.!.!.!. haha I gag for no reason sometimes!.!.!.
As for the fever, maybe you had something else that it just seemed like the water caused it, I dont think even sulfer water could do that, you might of just taken it before you got sick anyways!.

i'm not exactly sure but it could be contaminated!.!.!. and you don't notice when you cook with it because the toxins get boiled or heated away!.!.!. i would get a test kit for your kitchen water to make sure its safe for home use!.!.!.
if the test shows positive for something then i would call a plumber or the city inspector to correct the problem!.!.!.!. otherwise if nothing is wrong with it i would definatley get a water filter that you can use with the tap water!.!. beucase unwanted toxins can make you sick and get stomach worms!.!.!.
