Energy Drinks. What's the Deal?!


Question: Energy Drinks!. What's the Deal!?
Ok!. If you are just going to say they are bad don't drink them then don't say that here!. Just go on to the next qestion and don't waste my time!.

Several questions actually!.

Why do people keep saying they are bad!?

Why do people say the don't work!?

With so many of them are there different types or are they all just different brands!?Www@FoodAQ@Com


Answers:
1!. People say they are bad because there is a lot of sugar and caffeine in them!. Or they hear of someone that had problems from drinking them!. Well soda has as much sugar if not more than soda and coffee has more caffeine than most energy drinks do so that argument is false right there!. Some people have had some problems with energy drinks but that seriously means nothing!. They elevate the heart rate and more to give you energy!. They are suppose to that is how they work!. They won't do more to you than exercising will!. However since people can't blame exercising on anybody they keep their ignorant traps shut about that!. But energy drinks are made by companies so they get bad mouthed all of the time by the ignorant people!.

2!. There are several reasons why some say they don't work!. Some people are accustomed to a lot of caffeine on a daily basis!. So 1 or 2 may not seem to do much!. However, with all of the other stimulants in them I serisously find that hard to believe!. Another reason is the caffeine!. It takes more water to process then enery drinks provide so it takes extra water from our bodies!. This causes us to be dehydrated and when we are dehydrated we feel tired!. When combined with the sugar crash that can be devastating!. But if properly hydrated you won't even notice the sugar crash!.

3!. Energy drinks come in 2 major categories!. Regular and Healthy!. Regular energy drinks have a 3 sub categories!. They are standard, diet, and boosted!. Healthy energy drinks have 3 sub categories!. They are shots, drinks, and plus!. I will describe each below!.

REGULAR: Standard energy use sugar, caffeine, taurine, a few B vitamins and other stimulants!. Diet energy drinks are the same except that they use sugar substitute!. Booster enery drinks have a lot more caffeine and sometimes sugar in them than the starndard ones do!. The biggest problem with these besides what is stated above is that caffeine also depletes us of B vitamins!. These are essential for energy!. The B vitamins used in all regular energy drinks either just replaces what is lost or is barely much more to make much of a difference when providing us with energy!.

HEALTHY: Shots don't use sugar and have a bunch more B vitamins in them!. The down side is that they have so little water!. Remember the dehydration mentioned above!. With regular energy drinks you need 2 glasses of water to offset the caffein!. But with barely any water in shots you need 3 glasses!. Can you say bloated!? Drinks are the same size as regular so they have the same amount of water!. This means they are not as bad shots!. Both healthy shots and drinks offer caffeine free versions too!. Now for the plus!. This is a brand new category!. So far only one company has come out with it and it just came out last month!. This is a healthy energy drink with extra nutrients in it to offset stress in both body in mind!. This is vital becasue while providing the body with energy the stimulants do cause stress!. That is part of the reason why people claim they are bad!.

The only ones I ever recommend are XS!. They are the healthy drinks!. They are the ones that just released the plus version last month!. They even taste better than anybody else and with 15 varieties have the biggest selection too!. Then there is the 100% guarantee!. I've been doing a research at school on energy drinks and my mom is a nurse who gets reports on those things!.
-They arn't good because they have 3 times the amount of a regular cup of coffee!.

-They are now starting to see(researchers) that energy drinks cause past cocaine users to relapse!. And even cocaine addicts admit that if you drink enough energy drinks you get the same high as sniffing coke!.

-It causes a stress on the heart!. Especially when you mix it with alcohol, which puts a greater strain on the cardiovascular system!.(Depressant vs!. stimulant= mixes up your system)

-It hasn't been studied enough to see the side effects over years of consuming them!.

-There's been a couple of cases where people collasped from drinking a few energy drinks!.

And they arn't all the same, some have more guarana some have less or more caffeine!. Check the ingredients!.

-People say they don't work because, obviously, for some people they don't! Myself included - all they do is make me super jittery until I crash and feel exhausted, whereas a cup of coffee just gives me a little boost!.

just read the ingredients on the label then you will see how toxic they are, vitamin water is prob the best energy drink that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in it, that corn **** is very toxic causes lots of problemsWww@FoodAQ@Com
