Tap water (in the USA) is more highly regulated than bottled water is!. I have seen bottled water that would not even pass WHO standards, the most lax standards for water quality that I have ever seen!. That said, there is a lot of variation from place to place!. I have had tap water that tasted of sulfur (various places), of mud (New Orleans in the 1950s; they get my vote for most improved), of mold (West Palm Beach), and of earth (caused by the chemical geosmin, not from the muddy Missisippi)!. Over all, NYC has to rank pretty high; the water has won some taste tests to prove it, even against expensive bottled waters!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Thames Tap - available from any tap here in London!. By comparison all bottled water is crap!. In simple English, water is water and no matter where it comes from it cannot have any beneficial value what-so-ever, yet people insist upon this 18thC taking the waters nonsence, when they did not even have a cure for a sceptic wound the poor darlings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Hinkley Springs Distilled Water!. I had my tap water, my moms, and my sisters tested and a few different bottled waters and the tap water was a disgust!. Some of the bottle water was not the cleanest either, and it all wasn't so bad, but the Hinkley Springs was far more the best!. It taste pretty good too!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
