What happened to Milk is good for your bones?!


Question: What happened to Milk is good for your bones!?
I love milk and always grew up thinking drink as much milk as possible, it's good for your bones!

But recently i've heard people say that only drink whats in your cereal in the morning!?

Is milk bad!? I love milk and drink at least two cups a day (aside from morning cereal)

Actually, milk IS bad for your health!. Dairy causes diabetes, and not to mention the amount of cholesterol!. Our bodies produce our own cholesterol, so we don't need it in our diets (not to mention how bad it is)!. The "Milk is good for your bones" was invented by the dairy industry to sell their product!.!.!. but actually, most of the calcium from milk isn't even absorbed into your body!! It's the CALCIUM in milk that supposedly gives you strong bones and teeth!. SoyMilk is the one that's really good for your bones and health!. It has more vitamins and minerals (yes, more calcium) and it DOES get absorbed into your body!. also, no cholesterol! If Silk SoyMilk paid as much as the dairy industry does to promote the product, it would have replaced milk a long long time ago! So yes, milk IS bad for your health (It's been proven by studies NOT paid for by the dairy industry)!. Go for SoyMilk, It is a MUCH healthier alternative! I'm sure a glass of milk once and a while isn't bad for you, but if you have it in excess (like they want you to, they love your money!.) it can actually do harm to your body!.

The point behind milk being good for your bones and teeth, is milks high concentration of calcium!. However, it has been found of, that the higher the amount of calcium you have in your bones, the more brittle they become, because calcium hardens them!.

Your bones are supposed to be a little flexible, so that they do not break if you experience a hard blow!. But the more calcium there is in your bones, the harder they are, and the more likely they are to become brittle!.!.
Therefore milk is generally bad in high amounts!. However, you do need calcium, so don't regard it as toxic, just drink it in reasonable amounts!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Milk is most definitely not bad for you!.!.!. and has never been linked to causing diabetes!. As for soy milk, it is good for you too, however, the sugar content is much higher and lacks certain amino acids that can only be found in animal milk!. From a dental standpoint, I see many children at work who do not drink milk!. There is definitely a noticeable difference in cavities!. So don't worry, and keep drinking your milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Milk is good for your bones and your teeth!. My doctor asks if I'm drinking enough milk every time I go for a physical just to make sure (I love milk)!. The reason you shouldn't drink tons of it is that it is fattening!. If your worried about keeping slim drink skim milk since it takes a portion of the fat out!. Personally I'll only drink 2% but as long as you don't drink endless milk you'll be fine!. I've actually known people who drank so much milk (a gross amount) that they developed calcium lumps on there bones and had to cut back, but that is a rare thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Milk is gross!. It's full of fat, cholesterol and hormones and comes from cow boobies!. Many adults are lactose intolerant because in order to process lactose our bodies need to produce an enzyme called lactase--and we stop producing it in childhood because we no longer need to digest milk!.
