Congrats on joining our team! Some important things to remember: When your learning coach is teaching you make sure you pay attention!. Write out flash cards that have the different sizes and the shots/pumps for each size:

EX
tall: 3 pumps 1 shot
grande: 4 pumps 2 shots
venti: 5 pumps 2 shots!.

When you make a caramel macchiato, the number of pumps is 1 less than for the size T-2 G-3 V-4

Learn how to mark the cups, so that way when your on register, you can make sure that the person on bar knows exactly what the drink is!.

When you're on bar, and you have a rush, always steam ahead of your milk!. (If that makes any sence lol) Basically make sure that you have enough milk and then some extra for your drinks!. Make sure that you only use the soy pitcher for soy milk, and if you do steam soy milk make sure you clean the steam wands before hand!. Some people are highly lactose intolerant and this could really benefit them!.

Thats all I can think of for now!. Good luck!

It may seem hard at first, but once you get used to it, it will be like second nature!. (it took me about a month to get everything down pat!. Hopefully for you it won't take as long lol ;] )Www@FoodAQ@Com

i've never been one but you can think of the things the baristas have done in the past that you didn't like (i'm assuming you've bought coffee from starbucks before), and do your best to not follow their example!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Show some leg and wear a low cut top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
