In a coffee maker, the hot water must be forced to run through the coffee grounds in order to make the coffee!. Tea is much easier to extract from a the tea leaves!. If you put coffee in a bag and put it in a cup of hot water, you will get very weak coffee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can get coffee bags!. They fit into the top of a coffee machine (don't know the make) and when activated the water runs over the coffee bag then out of the machine into a cup/mug, quite good they

Folger makes coffee bags so you can make coffee by the cup!. Plus that is what instant coffee is you just don't have a bag to throw away lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Because coffee sort of dissolves into the hot water, where as tea leaves just let out the tea from they're leaves, if you put coffee in a bag like a tea bag then it would be absoluteley pointless :PWww@FoodAQ@Com
