What happens to the caffeine extracted from decaf?!

Question: What happens to the caffeine extracted from decaf!?
I've heard that now something like 10% of coffee is decaf!. That would be thousands of tons of coffee that's been stripped of caffeine, and thus, thousands of litres of pure caffeine!. Do they put it all in those high-potency energy drinks like Red Bull, and V!? What a cushy bizzo! Make one person pay for taking the caffeine out of her drink, and make the person next to her pay for putting that caffeine back into hisWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Most of the caffeine removed in processing is manufactured for use in other products, such as medicines and soft drinks!. For example, less than 5 percent of the caffeine found in cola drinks is actually from the kola nut, and many of the popular "high caffeine" soft drinks do not contain kola nut extracts at all!. The caffeine content of soft drinks is primarily, and sometimes completely, from the addition of caffeine extracted from decaffeination processes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
