I believe Mythbusters did a similar segment on pop rocks and soda and nothing happened!. So I believe it would be the same result unless you ate them both at the same time somehow, the worst that can happen is you are unable to handle the pressure in your mouth and not able to swallow resulting in you having to spray it everywhere!. But if you eat the mentos then drink the soda, nothing will happen except maybe a stomach (so I suggest not ingesting it)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Seriously, I doubt it could be done!.!.!. downing a pack of mentos would be tough!.!.!. and then downing a 2 liter of soda!? Nah!.!.!. back in my drinking days we would do shotguns of 12oz beers!.!.!. once I got really ambitious and did it with a pint!.!.!.got the pint down in about 3 seconds !.!.!. and it shot back out in less than one !!!
