How can I make homemade hot chocolate?!

Mom's Hot Cocoa
This is my Mom's recipe for hot cocoa!. She would make this for us 6 kids back in the early fifties!. It's easy to make and taste great! ENJOY!
6 servings:
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of cocoa
Dash of salt
1/3 cup of very hot water
4 cups of milk
3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1!. Mix sugar, salt, and cocoa in a saucepan; stir in water!.
2!. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils; boil and stir for 2 minutes!.
3!. Stir in milk and heat, DO NOT BOIL!.
4!. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Directions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream!. Stir continuously until white chocolate chips have completely melted!. Stir in the half-and-half, and vanilla extract!. Stir occasionally until heated through!. Pour into mugs and top with a dollop of vanilla whipped topping and garnish with mint leaf!.

cocoa powder, sugar ( or sweetener) and milk!.!.!.add the amount of milk you desire into a saucepan on med heat (add the milk before the pan gets too hot)!.!.!.slowly whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until desired taste is aquired!. whisk whisk whisk! makes the cocoa frothy and yummy and prevents the milk from sticking to the bottom of the pot!.

ok, this is a total mexican thing, but look for a hot chocolate called La Abuelita, its literally circle blocks of cocoa, you have you make it with milk, and you don't even need to sweeten it! try i know you'll like it, let me know!Www@FoodAQ@Com
