Consequences of not drinking milk?!


Question: Consequences of not drinking milk!?
i only drink milk about once every 5 months!.
what are my future consequences of not getting those nutrients!.
cant i just take a multi vitamin!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't drink milk you should conpensate by eating other dairy products - like yogurt, ice cream, cottage cheese and other cheeses!.

I wld say this - women need a goodly amount of calcium and in order for the calcium to be utilized by the body it also needs phosperous - there is an additive - you can buy at the drug store - called Phoscal or there should be other products that furnish the proper amts of the two you need to have strong bones and teeth!.

There are many related problems for people that do not take enough calcium - Osteoporosis is one of the biggies!. Here is a link to ck out what calcium deficiencies can do!

Don't mess around with this - it is very serious! :)

also be aware that if you take a lot of plain aspirin it burns calcium and Vit C in a big way so you need more - also smokers need more calcium and Vitamin C than non-smokers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most multivitamins don't have that much calcium and vitamin D!.

Just make sure you get calcium another way, it's in other foods besides milk!.

I take a calcium supplement 3x a day, my doctor advised me your body can only absorb 30% of calcium every 3 hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your body needs calcium - Vitamin D!. You could supplement these in tablet form, but drinking milk (I think) would be better for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
