I don't think it can go bad but I do think it can "stale"!. That's what my family says when the water's been sitting for a while and when you drink it again, it tastes bad!.
And the plastic bottle cannot hurt your water, no matter how long you leave it in there!.!.!.
The worst that may happen is opening it and closing it may allow microscopic organisms into the water and if you close it up and leave it there for a LONG time, mold and such may develop!. But I have a tendency to leave bottles in my room for long periods of time (I collect them)!.!.!.and so far water has never developed any visible mold and etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

please buy a filter and filter your tap water!. that is all bottled water is!. you will save $100's of dollars and cut down on pollution, oil consumption, help conserve water!. it takes twice the water to make one bottle of water as it does to pour a glass through a filter from the tap!.Wal-Mart has several of them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Contrary to what many people believe, very little bacteria from your mouth enters the water through backwash!. The problem with bottled water is that the plastic bottle starts to break down after a while!. If it is not in direct sunlight you should be fine using the same bottle for a few nights!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Nope!. There is nothing in water to "go bad!." In order for something to rot or spoil, it has to contain a food source for micro-organisms!. I suppose if you left it sitting long enough, it could start to get dusty--or evaporate!. In any case, you'll be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bacteria in your mouth will grow in the bottle at extreme rates as it sits in this kind of environment!.At least put the lid on and store in the fridge until you go to bed!.I would not do this for 3 consecutive nights!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No, I do the same thing!. I cough a lot at night and don't want cold water to wash it down with!. We also wake up with dry mouths!. Warm water does better than cold when your sleeping!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
The water never goes bad!. The expiration dates are because the plastic bottle can start permeating the water after awhileWww@FoodAQ@Com
it won't go bad, but bactaria might start to grow in it, esp!. if it's a plastic bottle without a lid on top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
