Can distilled water still have lime or other mineral deposits in it?!

Question: Can distilled water still have lime or other mineral deposits in it!?
I've been using distilled water in my coffee pot because my tap water has a lot of lime in it!. I'm still finding what looks like lime deposits when I clean the coffee pot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
100 percent steam distilled water should not leave lime and mineral scale in your coffeemaker!. You might have limescale residue left on your carafe if you're washing your carafe in tap water then using that carafe to measure the water for your coffeemaker!.

also, check to make sure your water is indeed 100 percent steam distilled!. Some distilled water is not steam distilled, but chemically demineralized, this water can contain a trace of minerals (under 1 percent)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
