Is coffee ever good for you?!

Question: Is coffee ever good for you!?
I'm currently on a diet, but have taken up drinking coffee again for the first in a few months!.

I now drink it without sugar and without milk, usually about 2 or 3 mugs a day!.

I just wondered whether black coffee has any benefits either for my diet or for my general health!. If it doesn't, I want to cut it out quickly!

ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

As long as you don't load it with sugar, cream, and milk- you are fine!. Two or three cups of black coffee a day isn't going to be a major detriment to your health!. Just be sure that you are eating regularly and eating healthily!. Coffee can sometimes ruin appetites, so be sure you don't mistake your caffeine high for not being hungry!. also, make sure you drink lots of water, as caffeine can dehydrate you!.

Personally, I always consider black coffee a diet helper, as it has almost no calories, lots of antioxidants, and helps curb my appetite!.

If you are concerned about the caffeine, switch to decaf or a 50/50 blend!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There have been several studies that suggest that coffee prevents Alzheimer's, and it may also help prevent heart disease, IF it is de-caf!.

You certainly don't want to ingest a lot of caffeine, which can lead to a variety of problems!. Stick with black de-caf, and you will do fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try drinking a cup of coffee in the morning!. It will give you a little boost because of the caffeine!. After that focus on your water in take and if you feel you need more coffee than go with decaf!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drink decaf only on medical advice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Last year, I drank 2 to 3 mugs a day!. I went blind, contracted syphillis and I grew a third head!. I recommend!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, coffee can be good for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
