Question: Addicted to soda!. how can i get over it and not want to drink it all the time!!!!?

Soda is bad for you and rots your teeth and depletes calcium from your bones!.!.!.that being said I am reminded of how much I enjoy drinking it IN MODERATION!. I look at it as empty calories that I would much rather spend on food or dessert!. Try weening yourself off of it slowly!.!.!. Mix it up, for every glass of soda you drink, have a glass of water or milk!.!.!.Or try iced tea or lemonade or crystal light!.!.!. If you have a glass of soda every once in a while, you will enjoy it more, it will be more like a treat!.!.!.
My bf was obsessed with soda!.!.!.he would drink almost a 12 pack in a day!!! He slowly stopped by one less can a day, and now he only has about 3 the most!.!.!.
He replaced it with water and crystal light and chewed gum when he got a craving!.!.!.

I myself had this problem before!. By soda, I assume you meant pop soda like coke or pepsi etc!. The way I have gotten out of the habit slowly has been by diverting to drinking fizzy water (also called seltzer water or club soda - which is just carbonated water)!. If I want some taste, I add a bit of cranberry juice at times and that improves things!. Seltzer water is basically just water, so it is not unhealthy like drinking sugar-filled pop soda and helps in getting over the sugar highs (and lows)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could try drinking mineral water like Topo Chico!. It's carbonated, and could help to ween you off of soft drinks!.

Another option would be an IZZE drink, which is basically an all natural pure fruit juice with some sparkling water; no refined sugar, no caffeine, no preservatives!.

You could always quit cold-turkey!. Once you've gone even a week without soda, you generally feel much better and no longer crave the stuff!. For the avid drinkers, it's also amazing how much weight you lose just by cutting sodas out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's just like any addition, slowly and steadily!.

My cousins used to drink it for breakfast and it took about a year for them to "get off the stuff!."

Cold turkey is the only way to quit!. Pick a quit day and start drinking water when you get up that morning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
