Why do people say they enjoy drinking coffee....?!
!.!.when in fact the taste of coffee is highly unpleasant, they often have to use sugar or milk to make it palatable, and when they drank coffee for the first time, they had to force themselves to enjoy it!?

Good Question! I think it has to something to do with the smell of it!. The smell is so much better than the taste; that was the reason I first tried it!. After that, it was little more than the pleasure of a nice warm drink with the company of friends when I was soaking wet and frozen after a day's work at sea!. After that, I was hooked!. It's true: it's an acquired taste for most anybody!. But, for me, at least, it's a comfort drink!. I associate coffee with pleasant memories and comforting moments and times: with friends, family, on a cold wint'ry day, with some wonderful food, in the morning, as I read the paper!.!.!.!.!.

It depends on the coffee you drink!. Most people serve everyday java which tends to be bitter!. When you drink fresh gourmet coffee, there is a noticeable difference!. My friend introduced me to Kona coffee from Hawaii and I used to use cream and sugar but don't have to now!. It saves calories and the taste is not that dark, almost burnt flavor some coffees have!. Kona coffee has a rich, smooth, mellow flavor that's irresistible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
When I was little I would sneak and drink the leftover coffee in the coffee cups, I love the taste!. I don't think it's weird that some people (like myself) like it with sugar and milk!. Just like any other food or drink, people like it in different ways!. The truth is subjective!. I enjoy the bitter taste of black coffee, I find it refreshing!. Besides that the kick off coffee is great as well!. Stimulants have always been part of human civilisation!. There are other reasons as wellWww@FoodAQ@Com
I don't know, it's the same as smoking isn't it, you have to force yourself through the first few to get addicted! Same thing at play I assume, people want to drink it for the caffeine buzz, so they force themselves to like it!. I prefer tea though, that tastes good with just some milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
