Answers:
Yes real cane sugar is better for you!.
Cane sugar is 50% fructose 50% sucrose!. HFCS is a corn based sweetener that has been modified to contains up to 80% fructose!.
In a 50/50 sugar such as cane sugar, each fructose molecule is bound to a sucrose molecule!. In a 80% fructose HFCS there is only 20% sucrose!. Therefore only 1/4 of the fructose molecules are bound to sucrose molecules!. That means that 3/4 of the fructose molecules are unbound!. However they do not want to be unbound!. Once metabolized they go in search of molecules to attach to!. Once in the vital organs they attach to minerals!. This makes the minerals unusable by the body and can lead to mineral deficiencies!. Studies show that it can even lead to organ damage!.

Research also shows that HFCS has a rebound effect with insulin production, causing swings in insulin production which can lead to increased appetite and pancreas damage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is somewhat healthier, as Cane sugar is more readily used by the body, that high fructose syrup, so it would be less fatteningWww@FoodAQ@Com
