Costa coffee..why is this?!
Can someone explain to me, why is there a Costa coffee branch in seemingly all minor cities but there's only Starbucks in the major ones!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
I think the answer is the rental/property tax costs!. Costa are a newer smaller company than Starbucks!. They will be looking at the smaller towns first - where there is less competition and so rental/property tax costs are less!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Costa and Starbucks are both everywhere!.
But I don't really understand your question- they are differenct companies and as such expand in defferent ways!.
It's like asking - why is Boots everywhere and Superdrug only in larger towns!? The two companies are totally unrealted to each other!Www@FoodAQ@Com
