Are teas grown NOT in the USA safe?!

Question: Are teas grown NOT in the USA safe!?
The USA has strict Food and Drug regulations!. How can we know if teas grown outside of our own USA regulations are as safe or perhaps safer than our own!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Well, some poorer countries use nicotine insecticides and they will have a small amount of nicotine residue on the tea!.

The US FDA has strict regulations, but they don't monitor or enforce very well (i!.e!. Spinach, peanuts, pistacchios, Chinese Toys), that's why many countries single out American food products as possibly not ready for consumption!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I could be very wrong, but I'm unaware of any tea production in the USA!. And coffee is only grown in a very small amount in one state!. But if properly brewed with an artificial heat source i!.e!. NOT sun brewed, there's really not much in the way of pathogens that can get through the preparation of tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The US Food and Drug regulations aren't even dependable anyway!. Just because it has a fancy name doesn't mean it does anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

some of them are even way better (Indian, etc!.!.!.) but I do remember baying so mexican coffee packed in california that had no taste, no odor and was like acid!!! I kept the box to sue the company!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
