What do you like best about starbucks coffee?!

I had to give everyone downing SB a big thumbs up (since I always get thumbs down for it)!.
Most of the "SB Barrista" answers on YA are wrong, so I know the training isn't all that!. The beans are roasted too dark for anything but a burnt flavor!. They only know 1 way to make espresso, when every batch of beans is different & needs to be adjusted for!. And they are over priced!.
If you buy @ SB, you are paying up to $100/pound of beans!. I buy & roast my own & it comes to less than 50 cents a cup ($5-7/pound), I think my espressos are much better & I know my regular coffees are way better!. I spend $20-35 every 1!.5 years or so!.

Starbucks coffee is inferior when compared to most other brands!. The reason for this is because Starbucks uses G2 and G3 quality beans which means that they are not 100% Arabica!. Notice how most companies have bags that say 100% Arabica, while Starbucks' says 100% ethically grown!? This is because Arabica beans are the best beans!. Even better is specialty Arabica beans because they are selected for their taste!.
Starbucks' G2 and G3 quality beans are uneven and misshapen!. This causes uneven flavors!. In order to compensate for this problem, Starbucks singes the beans at the end of the roasting cycle to, essentially, burn a conformed flavor throughout the coffee!. If Starbucks did not do this, every cup of the same coffee would taste different!.
I recommend a company with 100% Specialty Arabica beans!.

BLECK!!! i hate coffee in itself and i hate the overpriced overhyped starbucks phenomenon!. what i do like (not personally but for those who are into it) is the coffee shop environment of hanging out with friends, surfing the net, reading, socialising!.!.!.that sorta thing!. if they lowered prices then it would be great for those people who enjoy both the environment and the coffee!. but even if i liked those things, i wouldn't pay those prices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
