well yea there is a bad side, if you drink too much water it is bad for you. i know someone that drank too much water, and her whole body swelled up, i forgot what it was called. but just watch how much you drink ok :)

How much water you drink can depend on many things, you should take these things into consideration. For example, if you live in a hot place, you'll probably be drinking more water. The amount of salt you eat, etc.
And yes, there is a possibility drinking too much water can harm you; if you drink so much it dilutes the electrolytes in your body, it could affect your heart, but you can avoid this by eating foods that replenish those electrolytes, such as foods with potassium, calcium, or sodium.

The best way to figure out how much water your body needs is to take your total body weight for the day (beginning of the day) and divide it in half. That is the minimum amount of ounces of water you should drink each day. Every person will need a different amount to drink per day.

There is such a thing as water intoxication. Here are a couple of websites on this subject:

Depends on your local water impurities.

Many areas have some water problems so they advise not drinking above a certain amount of water from that area.

Chicago recently tested above the limit for "Chromium" and Chicagoans are advised not to exceed the stated limit.

Call your water company, or your local newspaper.

Yeah you can od on water, I am 100% sure of this. A few years ago a local radio station had a water drinking contest to see who could drink the most in xyz amount of time.. it was for free tickets to some concert. The chick drank a couple gallons and dies shortly after from all the water.

Water is good for you. It flushes out toxins and keeps you hydrated. though there's bad side to it too. Just eat saltly foods for a bit, avoid spicy foods they will make you drink more water lol, sweet is good, though just eat food that will kind of even out everything.

As long as you don't chug it down all at once I don't see a problem.
