Taste Of Gasoline In My Coffee?!
I drank an espresso at a shopping depart the other day and I felt a taste of gasoline in it. What was that?

They probably cleaned the machine recently.
The problem was likely they used some chemical that was never meant to be used in a coffee maker to remove scale. Not only could it damage the machine and cause a horrible taste, but the chemical could be dangerous if ingested. I'd find out what they cleaned it with, and probably avoid their coffee as well.
hmmm...... bad espresso?
