There is a lot of conflicting information about water consumption these days. Now experts are saying not to drink so much as once thought was good.
I think 48 oz is quite a bit of water. It would certainly depend on your activity. For example, if you're hiking up a mountain for 8 hours, no, 48 oz isn't too much. If you're sitting on the couch watch football, yes, it seems like too much....unless that water is beer. jking
