How do I stop drinking pop (soda), I swear, soda is like cigarettes to me?!

Question: How do I stop drinking pop (soda), I swear, soda is like cigarettes to me?
I've tried the water thing, it doesn't work, what are some replacements?

Answers:

I have the same 'control' problem lol I am chocoholic but anyway, you can have some replacement for the strong high sugar contained soda and switch to the healthy ones. Try tonic water and add some lemon or cranberry, whatever you want or just drink fruit juices. Water would be a boring replacement for soda but it is the healthiest! No pain No gain! ;)

i quit drinking soda on jan 1st as a new years resolution. I made it for over 2 weeks until i broke down and had a soda. all I did was go back to not drinking it. I'm drinking unsweeteened tea and water more. sometimes I'll have vitamin water, but mostly water.

You haven't mentioned what king of pop you're having.

Most likely, you're addicted to the caffeine and sugar. They give you a boost.

What I found is good is getting a Dole Sparkler. It has half the sugar of regular juice and has the added element of tasting like they're carbonated like pop.

>It's like any other addictive behavior. Cessation (using some discipline) is your answer. There is tea, coffee, fruit juices...you know what's on the store shelves...so stop drinking the soda.

Try looking at this link. That will stop you drinking soda.

fruit juices: orange juice, apple juice, grape juice. healthy like water but with particular flavors. most of all stop buying as much soda. can't drink it if you don't have it.

Find a replacement. when you find a replacement for the fix you need your mind will adjust. try tea, coffee, or water. Mine was arizona arnold palmer ice teas!

You can buy little packets of tea mix that you can add to water.

sparkling flavored water!

you mix some bitter gourd essence in it whenever you take soda
