Dr. Pepper is older. Mr. Pibb showed up when competing botteling companies wanted to market that similar flavor. True Dr. Pepper fans will tell you there is no comparrison. DR. PEPPER RULES! You would need to check all ingredients to be sure, but there is a taste difference.
