To make coconut milk you do not need to mix with the milk.
Buy the coconut not dry one with shel shake it to make sure coconut water still in it, take out from shel and grate it, put in the water and squeeze it then sieve it, you can make your own coconut milk doing this way.

That's not coconut milk. That's coconut flavored milk. Coconut milk is a whole other thing.
