Why do I feel dizzy and shaky after drinks?!

Question: Why do I feel dizzy and shaky after drinks?
Sometimes whenever I have energy drinks I start to feel dizzy and shaky and a little tired. This usually happens with Nos and some other drinks that give me energy to work out and exercise especially coffee. Ever since I pin-pointed the problem I stopped drinking them, but I still need energy to work out sometimes. Please help me out with this problem.

Those type of drinks are terrible for you!!! You might get a boost in energy due to the caffeine and the tremendous amount of sugar, but the rush usually will only last about 30 minutes or so and then your system (blood sugar levels) drops dramatically and you generally feel worst then when you started. Your body is probably reacting negatively to the caffeine and sugar, it's basically toxic to your system and your body is trying to get rid of it.

Sounds like you don't tolerate caffeine well. I have a hard time getting going sometimes too, but if you do some stretching and bending, it should give you a little boost to get exercising.

Try drinking cold juice, the natural sugar will give you the temporary energy to start your work-out. Pineapple or grapefruit juice would wake you right up.

Have you tried coffee or iced coffee? It has caffeine but not the other exotic stimulants.
