Is it normal for Dunkin Donuts iced coffee to taste watery?!

Question: Is it normal for Dunkin Donuts iced coffee to taste watery?
I thought it was just this one time, but everytime I order a DD iced coffee it tastes watery and disgusting! Does this happen to anyone else? Or is it just me?

Well, it is Dunkin Donuts...

When ice starts to melt in a drink, the drink will start to taste diluted. Therefore, when ice starts to melt in the coffee, it will taste diluted, or watery. This is my theory with the coffee anyway. I think the Frappuccinos, the iced coffees, etc. are just nice money-making gimmicks. My SIL buys Frappuccinos and talks about them being coffee. From what I understand, it's mostly ice and milk with little coffee and a lot of cost. I prefer real coffee-- Black and hot. (It's also cheaper, even at Starbucks, where I won't shop because the coffee is also overpriced.)

When you blend coffee with ice made from plain water, you get watered down coffee. That's why people always say to use "double strength" coffee. Most places don't make iced coffee the right way since it takes a little more time.

The best iced coffee is made from cold-brewed coffee, so you don't need to cool it with ice (thereby diluting it). I freeze some of the cold brew to make coffee ice cubes that keep the flavor full and rich.

I roast my own beans and have seven ways to brew coffee (including cold brewed).

yeah its because of the ice melting. try the iced lattes... its a little better.

I would say no, but I've had an ice coffee from there before and to tell you the truth they are not all that good!

yes because they put too much ice on it, and iced latte is much better

yes it is.
