Most commercial yogurts that are flavored are already "smoothies" since they're so runny. You can make them runnier though by adding milk or mixing ice into them if your blender is strong enough.
Smoothies are usually made with yogurt (and that yogurt can be made with milks that have different amounts of fat), but you could mix in half and half or ice cream if you wanted and didn't mind the smoothie being higher in fat and calories.
If you don't mind changing the flavor, or adding to the flavor, you can also blend in any frozen fruits--yum (or just cut-up room temp fruits but the smoothie won't be cold then).
You can also refrigerate/chill or freeze whatever you've made for awhile (or some of the ingredients) till the smoothie is cold enough, or even solid.
