Last year on an hot day day?!


Question: Last year on an hot day day?
Im from England and last year on a very hot day I gave my post man a small bottle of asda lemonade and he was really enjoying it going down the street and a lady at the end of my street spoke to him and she gave him a bottle of water for him to have later on and he said he was really thirsty in the hot heat. was I daft to give a drink to the post man?

Certainly not.
I am a postman in England and on hot days it is thoughtful to offer a postman a drink as we are often out delivering mail for six hours without a break. I take a bottle of water with me but it doesn't last long in the heat.

No, it was just a very polite thing to do.

The lady down the street was probably not aware of the drink, or really wanted him to stay hydrated.

Besides, when he said it was hot, he probably meant it. He wasn't looking for something - just making small talk about the weather.

Just relax a little. :)
