The females do - just like all mammals! Buffalo milk gives us great mozzarella.

It is not the shaggy buffalo of the western plains of the United States from which we get the milk for buffalo mozzarella. It is the domestic water buffalo that supplies the milk. Here is a link the the Wikipedia article about buffalo mozzarella that has a photo of one of these animals:

Yes, and as a teen, I used to go to a certain pizza place all the time, and wondered why it was so much more delicious than other places.
I started working there when I was 17 and found out that they use only cheese made from buffalo milk. It definitely was the cheese that was so good.
I always wonder why other pizza places don't use this. It made that pizza place so popular and no one usually knows why.
Go buffalo!

The female will lactate like all bovines will to provide for its young. Now I don't know if anyone has milked a buffalo but I would assume it's possible, depending of course, on the cow's temperament for instance.

yes. they even make buffalo milk mozzarella and yogurt (which I think is very good.)

Buffalo don't give milk but if you're careful you can take it.

Of course, how do you think the females feed their babies?
