Does drinking earl grey tea and peppermint tea count as drinking water?!

Question: Does drinking earl grey tea and peppermint tea count as drinking water?
I know you're supposed to drink a lot of water, but I also drink several cups of tea a day. Does the tea count 8-12 (or whatever we're supposed to drink) glasses of water a day? Or does it have to be plain water? What are some other ways that I can spice up my water so I don't get bored?
Thank you!

I always get a lot flack for this, but the truth is that anything that you drink counts, but anything that isn't water only counts for half the amount of water you should be drinking. For example, if you drink 8 ounces of Earl Grey with Peppermint Tea, only 4 of those ounces go towards the recommended daily allotment of water.

No need to spice it up just drink tea. Drinking 3 or even more cups of tea daily is just as healthy for you as consuming lots of water and might possess additional health advantages, point out researchers. Read more at it at my source

Anything that contains water IS flavouredwater. It doesn't go away.
