is distilled water dangerous to drink more than spring water?!

Question: Is distilled water dangerous to drink more than spring water?
i've heard yes it is,and heard no it's fine, but for the last week i've replaced distilled water with spring water since local stores here have had a shortage on spring water

Answers:

Spring water is clean - it does not have any bad stuff - but it does contains many impurities that are good for you, eg calcium, magnesium, nitrate, potassium, etc. These are minerals that your body uses, for example, calcium is used for building bones. This type of water is 'hard' water. It helps your digestive system stay strong by learning to filter out what it doesn't need from water.

Distilled water is also clean but it does not contain any impurities. Your body therefore misses out on extra minerals and your digestive system becomes weak and lazy because it doesn't have to filter the water.

Neither is dangerous to drink but I would not recommend drinking distilled water for too long.

Distilled water is pure water - no nothing in there except the water and whatever crap has been leached by the plastic bottles it comes in.

Spring water that you buy from the store is likely the result of a reverse osmosis water filter. While it is quite pure it will still contain a few impurities - as well as the crap that has been leached out of the plastic.

If you want good water to drink then get a Brita water filter for your faucet or one of the jugs for the fridge. Change the filter at the appropriate times and/or wash out the jug from the fridge.

There is nothing special about spring water. Nothing.

No, distilled water is not dangerous to drink. Distilled water is pure water. Spring water is water with minerals. Sometimes these minerals can be healthy for you, but sometimes not. Distilled water is always safe to drink.
