What were old fashioned soda pop stores called?!

Question: What were old fashioned soda pop stores called?
Somewhere between (i believe) the 40's-60's there were these stores that served as hangouts for teenagers to drink soda pop and eat candy. They usually had a bar for customers to sit at and order. Can anyone tell me what the name of this type of establishment was called?

Soda Fountains. Sometimes they were their own shops and sometimes inside drugstores or ice cream parlors.

Soda Jerks used to set up shop in drug stores for the most part

I would call it a Soda Parlor or a Soda (Pop) Shop

Soda pop shop or diner

It was simple back then!
