Question: Why is it that commercial brew coffee prepared in a commercial coffeemaker tastes so much more better than?
conventional ground roast coffee in a french press? i work at a restaurant where they prepare this kind of coffee and it taste so much more better than my french press made coffee, also when i take it black it doesnt irritate my stomach as much and just taste way better, can the coffee experts please explain as to whats going on????????? THANKS A LOT.

Any method of making coffee where the water stays in the contact with the grounds for very long will dissolve the acids in the coffee making it bitter. Commercial makers are hot and fast. They extract the flavor and leave behind the nasty stuff that makes coffee taste bad.



maybe the type of coffee you're using with your french press isn't that good quality.
