should I put the milk in first, or the tea?!

Question: Should I put the milk in first, or the tea?
Answers:

Traditionally people used to pour the milk in first then the tea to save the china cups from cracking. Now its just whichever way you fancy. Personally I prefer milk in before tea but know of people who prefer it the other way round.

I'm an English girl who likes her tea :)

?I WAS told by a former resident of Imperial India that, if the quality of the milk was in doubt, then putting the milk in first was a more effective way of scalding it and killing the bacteria. Thus it would seem that to ask for 'milk in first' when taking tea with the Duchess is a subtle way of criticising her standard of housekeeping.

Milk because...If you put tea first it taste different. Now if you put the milk first it taste better and I know how because...Everybody I knew told me I need to put milk first because I always used to put tea first and i thought something was wrong. But when they started telling me I did it one day and I said WOW!!

So try it and agree!!But I am only 10.shh

I like to put the milk in after I pour the tea and let the bag steep. Mainly because i like to watch the milk make pretty patterns in my tea. Idk if it has any real benefit or not.
