How bad are energy drinks really?!

Question: How bad are energy drinks really?
I know they aren't good for you but can I get some serious answers. Lately i've been drinking about 3-4 a week, and I am a 16 year old girl. Will this affect my health in any short-term or long-term way?

personal experience

energy drinks contain a lot of caffeine, like 5 strong coffee in one drink. i used to drink energy drinks almost every night to finish my papers. the adverse effect is that i become groggy during the day that i cannot focus on studying.

they have A LOT of calories, unless you have a very fast metabolism your going to gain weight. also, I hear they can give you kidney stones. they just arnt good for you at all.

You shouldn't drink them at all. Full of sugar and caffeine. What I do is I drink water only. Water is one of the most important fluids to have in the body. Quit the sweet drinks and drink water :)

You'll die if you're diabetic and drink one while on certain medications.

of course it will affect your health
