do Brita water filters work well for you?!

Question: Do Brita water filters work well for you?
Just would like to hear from people that have used the Brita system...
Does your water taste better?
Do you think it removes chemicals?
Stuff like that...
Thanks!

Answers:

I've owned nothing but Brita for several years now and am happy with the results the filters give. You do have to change them, they certainly don't last forever, but all systems are the same way.

I like the way my Chicago water tastes after it has been filtered. I can definitely taste the difference between filtered and un-filtered water so I do believe it is taking chemicals and the like out of the water.

I think the Brita system is user-friendly, a good value, and does what it promises.

I use the brita filter, it does make the water taste better, and yes it removes chemicals. I have been using it for about 5 years now. My neighbor does not have one and i can tell the difference. I recommend using to anyone.

Honestly, no. Haven't noticed a difference. We have city water now. Maybe it would be different if we had a well... I don't know.

I don't know about to removing chemicals, but the water does seem to taste fresher when I drink it.
