I bought milk that was not sealed?!

Question: I bought milk that was not sealed?
I bought milk at walmart and when I got home I saw that the seal was broken. Is this dangerous?

Answers:

Yes. And I don't freak out over 'use by' dates or leaving food out of the fridge, but this is something you can't mess with. Get the recipe and call the phone number right now....tell them you have gotten home and the milk seal was broken. If you don't want to get back out tonight, tell them that and tell them you will bring it back (whenever) to get a replacement. Let them know you are inconvenienced. I checked groceries a long time and your checker should have noticed that. Don't drink it. I am 99% sure it's fine, but why is it unsealed...someone could have put something gross (or worse) in it. Better safe than sorry on this one.

Yes! Any dariy product that's not sealed when you buy it is not worth the risk
I would rather go back & spend a few $ on some milk than get sick & have to be in the bathroom all day but that just me .. Milk & cheese are similar & cheese is a type of mold that we eat (cause it's not toxic until another chemical prosses that happens as times passes changes that & it's probably the same for milk hope this held

NO!!!!! Don't drink it i have heard a story about somebody that same thing happened and they had to go to the hospital because there was poison or something VERY DANGEROUS! and even if there isnt poison or any type of nasty fluid you never no how long it was opened.

Don't drink it.

You can either bin it or take it back from the store you bought it from .. they will need to inform the company packaging the milk and check their store for other unsealed bottles.

It more than likely is safe, but don't take the risk.

Yes! even if it doesn't smell bad who knows whats inside. Ditch it to be on
the safe side. If you have already drunk some of it then dont worry too much.
Visit your doc if your unsure

I bet if you take it back they would refund your money or let you exchange. Very dangerous!

take it back

Well.. i think it is....
