I have a glass soda syphon that needs refilling. How do I fill it up?!
I belong to an amateur theatre group that has an empty glass soda syphon. I cannot work out how to open the top and refill it.

You can't these were produced by Schweppes company a few years ago and when they were empty you took it back to a shop to exchange for a full one.
The shop would return it along with some more to Schweppes for them to refill after cleaning!
There is how ever a stainless steel soda syphon which look period that is to say between the wars if that's the period your play is set. this can be found if you check out kitchen equipment shops!
Or a modern glass syphon covered in a chain mail coat .
